of the African Studies Association of Australasia and the Pacific (AFSAAP)
includes an annual subscription to
The Australasian Review of African Studies,
invitations to the
annual conference, inclusion of
membership profile at the AFSAAP web site, and regular email notification of
events, publications and other items of interest related to the field of African
Studies.
The membership fees for 2011 are -

We prefer payment in Australian dollars, via credit card, cheque or money
orders. Please make cheques and money orders payable to
the
"African
Studies Association of Australasia and the Pacific". Foreign currency cheques attract an
additional AUD$20
fee to cover bank charges.
Electronic funds transfer
is accepted by arrangement with the AFSAAP Treasurer -
treasurer@afsaap.org.au.
Receipts are issued upon request.
Each year we ask members to donate to the Annual Conference Visitors from Africa
fund.
Donations are
kindly accepted.
Please encourage others with an interest
in African Studies to join AFSAAP. If you teach at a University or other institution please
encourage the Librarian to consider organisational membership of AFSAAP, thus
ensuring their library receives copies of the peer-reviewed journal,
The Australasian Review of African Studies.
AFSAAP is a registered non-profit association and its
assets and income are applied solely in furtherance of its
constitution and no portion shall be distributed directly or indirectly to
its members except as bona fide compensation for services
rendered or expenses incurred on behalf of the organisation.
AFSAAP is
GST exempt.
